Community Liaison
In 2008 Winstone established a Community Liaison Group (CLG) at Belmont Quarry which consists of representatives from the local community, Hutt City District Council (tba), Greater Wellington Regional Council (tba) and Winstone management. The purpose of this forum is to build a sustainable working relationship between Winstone Aggregates and the local community. It is hoped that this group will provide a two way forum for communication and enable constructive outcomes to be reached.
The CLG meets regularly, and meeting notes and minutes are recorded, distributed to attendees, and posted to this web site.
